Я имел в виду, что итальянский для жителей Сицилии - иностранный. Т.н, сицилийский диалект, который правильней называть сицилийским языком, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sicilian_language, и стнадартный итальянский не являются mutually intelligible.
